HomeLights Manufacturing was established in 2010 as a joint venture between HomeLights and Shanghai university research lab. The factory is located in the outskirts of Shanghai and benefits from the unparalleled infrastructure of the Jiangsu province.
We invested in the latest testing and assembling equipment in order to deliver to our customers products on time and that comply to our stringent quality requirements.
The factory benefits from the wealth of experience of its management in all the key departments: quality control, R&D, production planning and logistics. Few LED factories have experience in producing large quantities for major retailers, but HomeLights Manufacturing is one of them.

Quality that is Really Controlled
Since its inception, the HomeLights Group has focused not only on price, but also quality. This can only be achieved by taking in house the core quality control processes. From engineers to equipment to partnerships, HL’s extensive experience in designing and producing LEDs shows in the quality controls in place. A full Quality Control HL presentation is available to all HL partners to demonstrate HL capabilities to customers and end-users.
Engineers with experience
Three full time quality control engineers are working for the HomeLights Group in order to sustain the highest level of quality in the LED industry. These engineers test and advice on sample quality, conduct PSI and DUPRO quality controls, audit factories and technology partners, etc. HomeLights has a very strong quality team whose levels of Quality control match those of GE, Philips and Osram.
In house equipment
On top of the experience of its engineers, HL relies heavily on testing equipment. HL Group purchased an integrating sphere to give full spectrographic reports on lamps (LED, CFL, Incandescent, etc.). This allows HomeLights to give you reports on all samples that you might need to test (competition, defects, prototypes, etc.). Lumen output, CRI and color temperature amongst other things are tested in a matter of seconds in one of HomeLights in-house labs. HL Group also purchased high potential testing machines in order to assess the safety of all HomeLights products. This equipment simulates up to 10,000V differential so that consumers can never get electrocuted should a short circuit occur in their home or office. HL Group purchased a gonio-photometer which is equipment at the cutting edge of the technology. A photometer designed to measure the intensity of light reflected from a surface at various angles. This equipment is in this way able to determine exactly the spread of the lights. The fixture and equipment have great compatibility. This allow us to give you a complete report. HLM acquired further testing equipment so that HL products are default free and the HL brand becomes a synonym of outstanding quality. ICT (In Circuit Tester), drop test machines, torque test machines, electronic transformers, etc... No expense has been spared in order to ensure the highest level of quality control.
Real Certificates
All HomeLights products are fully certified for use in their intended market. All products have at least CE, RoHS, LVD and EMC full Compliance and test reports are available for your customers to verify. The latest EN standards are already take into account, as well as packaging guidelines.
Processes
HomeLights is following the latest developments in terms of processes, customer relationship management, intellectual property and marketing techniques. HomeLights is also working in full compliance with the latest quality control standards. The design processes follow thoroughly the generally accepted industry rules. HomeLights suppliers are ISO9001:2000, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, CE, RoHS, UL and CCC certified factory. The highest possible standards of quality are met and customer audits have repeatedly shown that HL is one of the most reliable LED brands in Europe.

On top of its in-house quality control facilities, HL relies on best of class third party quality laboratories and service providers. HomeLights is among the largest LED partners of BV, Kema, TUV, GS, Asia Inspection, etc. Having strong connections with the quality industry in China and elsewhere allows HL to apply the best manufacturing and design processes, certify HomeLights products faster than the competition and be very responsive to the ever evolving government standards all over the world.

The company, which is based in France, has supported a part of the development and execution costs for the product line and the marketing tools; Its consultants and sales representatives are responsible for the link with the distributors and their mission is to create the conditions for synergy, profiting from all of the distributors in terms of product and marketing policy.
